Happy Valentine's day to everyone. Valentine's day is one of my favorite days, and not  just because it is the day of love. I believe everyday should be filled with love for everyone. On this day in 2009 my wonderful husband took me for a picnic and proposed to me. It was a surprise considering we had told each other we were going to wait a couple months. I am so thankful that God brought Heath into my life. He is such a wonderful person. With all that said it has been 4 years ago and I can not believe how much time has flown by. I am looking forward to the many more Valentines with him.
Today Addisyn is 17 months old. She is growing up so fast. She is so much fun at this stage of her life and I thank God everyday for her.  She is such a loving tenderhearted little girl.
I decided this year since Addisyn was a little older I would try to make Holidays/Special Days  as fun and creative as I can. Today we have had so much fun. Since Heath had to go into work this morning we decided to do gifts last night. She had so much fun opening her gift bag full of Minnie mouse items. Heath was a sweetheart and brought home beautiful flowers and candy, of course.  I made a Snapfish book for heath from Addisyn on the "Ten Reasons Why I Love My Daddy" . It turned out cuter than I had expected!
Some of the things we did this morning to make the day special was make cinnamon heart rolls with pink icing. I have to say this was a lot harder to do than I thought. Once they cooked they looked more like circles. It's the thought that counts right?  For lunch we all made pizzas with pepperoni's in the shapes of hearts. Addisyn had fun eating the cheese off the pizza after she put the cheese on the pizza. For her bath today I decided to do a fun Valentine Day bath filled with pink water, pink rose petals , foam lips, bubbles, and pink balls. She had so much fun playing with all the bubbles.  After her midday nap we made pink heart cookies. She did so much better than at Christmas time. She actually made some rather than eat the dough. We also made some Valentine day crafts  which were quite messy.  I have had so much fun pampering Addisyn today to show her that mommy loves her so much. She is such a blessing in our lives.
This year for Heath I decided to do something a little different, so I did the 14 day Valentine Day Gifts. It went so well. I think he is use to getting gifts every morning.   Everyday was so much fun to see him smile over his little gift and corny saying. Here are some pictures from our special day:
